Put the argument back at the center
Academic writing should show how evidence leads to your conclusion. Rebuild generic literature summaries around a clear research question, a critical comparison, and citations you have personally checked.
No score promises. Improve the writing, then make the final judgment yourself.

How to read Scribbr
Scribbr describes four classifications spanning AI-generated, AI-refined, mixed, and human-written content, and it provides paragraph-level feedback in its detector experience.
For academic work, the strongest revision is not cosmetic. It makes the writer’s method, comparison, limitations, and source trail visible to the reader.
Keep in mindA more original draft has an original line of reasoning—not merely different wording.

A better editing pass
These are writing decisions, not tricks. The aim is a draft that carries clearer evidence, context, and intent.

↘Explain where studies agree, diverge, or use methods that make direct comparison difficult.
↘Check author names, dates, quotations, page numbers, and bibliography entries against the source.

Many researchers have studied remote work and productivity. Smith found positive effects, while Jones also discussed employee outcomes. Therefore, remote work is an important topic for organizations.
Source listing · no synthesisSmith links remote work to higher output in individual tasks, whereas Jones measures team coordination and finds slower decisions. The apparent conflict reflects different outcomes, so this review separates task productivity from collaborative speed.

No. Results can vary with the passage, language, length, detector settings, thresholds, and product updates. Human-written text can be flagged, while AI-assisted text can be missed.
Not a promiseWe improve the writing—not manufacture a guaranteed detector score.
Responsible use
Use UltraHumanizer for drafts you are allowed to revise, to replace generic language with real context, or to review a possible false positive. Follow the rules set by your school, employer, publisher, or platform.
Questions, answered
Product-specific context, honest limits, and a responsible way to revise.
Scribbr describes categories for AI-generated, AI-generated and AI-refined, human-written and AI-refined, and human-written content. Each remains a probabilistic classification.
It narrows the area worth reviewing while preserving more context than a single highlighted phrase. Check the paragraph’s claim, evidence, citation, and connection to the wider argument.
Language coverage can change. Consult Scribbr’s current product page before relying on the detector for a particular language.
No. Scribbr controls its own models, thresholds, and classifications. UltraHumanizer can revise writing patterns, but it cannot promise a score or ensure that a detector will classify a passage in a particular way.
No. A detector result is a statistical signal, not proof of authorship or misconduct. Review the draft, sources, revision history, and the rules that apply to the work before reaching a conclusion.
Use it to improve drafts you are allowed to edit, address possible false positives, and make wording more specific to your real experience. Keep your own reasoning and citations, disclose AI assistance when required, and never misrepresent authorship.
Turn repetitive, generic language into a clearer draft you can inspect, edit, and make your own.
